This policy explains what Geenius Gaming does with information when you visit play.geenius-solutions.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

We do not ask who you are. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no newsletters. We do not sell anything, and we do not sell data about you.

What we collect ourselves

Server logs. Our web server records each request: the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address. These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are deleted on a rolling basis. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Nothing else. Geenius Gaming sets no cookies of its own, and no analytics script runs on this site at the time of writing. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when.

Game data

Some games save your progress or your settings on your own device, using the browser's local storage. That data stays on your iPad. It is not sent to us and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser's data removes it.

Multiplayer games send what the game needs in order to work — your moves and the room code you joined — to our server for the length of the session. Nothing from a multiplayer session is kept once the room closes.

Advertising

Geenius Gaming is free, and the intention is to pay for it with display advertising in future. At the time of writing, no advertising is running on this site and no advertising script is loaded.

When advertising is switched on, it will be supplied by Google AdSense. At that point:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve adverts on this site.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve adverts based on your visit to this and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by other participating vendors at www.aboutads.info.

Advertising will never be shown before a game starts, during play, or as a pop-up. This page will be updated on the day advertising is switched on.

Children

The games here are suitable for children, and we deliberately collect nothing that could identify anyone, of any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. Since the only personal data we hold is server log entries containing an IP address, those requests are usually straightforward.
